Un modello veramente molto bello, dal colore iridescente e quasi abbagliante, colto in maniera ottima nelle proporzioni e nelle dimensioni.
Unico difetto visibile la verniciatura sfumata nelle griglie anteriori più basse.
STORIA DEL MODELLO:
Walter Koenig, dopo aver fatto alcune conversioni su qualche Ferrari e su pepate Porsche Turbo, provò qualcosa di diverso e si dedicò ad una conversione meno estrema rispetto a quelle passate: quella della Countach Lamborghini.
L'auto aveva nuove minigonne laterali e ruote in multistrato BBS dal colore formidabile. Gli interni sono stati modificati e sono stati inoltre montati nuovi sedili Recaro.
L'alimentazione fu migliorata installando un turbocompressore che portò la potenza complessiva a 500 bhp. Koenig sarebbe stato in grado di installare anche un twin turbo V-12, ma nessuno comprò l'auto con questa opzione.
Walter Koenig was definitely used to transforming Ferrari’s Boxer into a real road-ready race car. After he did a few conversions on these Ferrari’s and on some Porsche Turbo’s, he tried something a little different and less extremely restyled, the Lamborghini Countach.
The car had new side skirts and multi-piece BBS wheels painted gold. The interior was reupholstered and new Recaro seats were fitted.
Power was upgraded by installing a single turbocharger that rasied overall output to 500 bhp. But Koenig was able to install a twin turbo V-12, but nobody actually bought this one.
The sole Koenig-Specials remained in Germany until 1996 and was subsequently sold to an owner in the Dutch Lamborghini Club.
